Park Place Hotel is Green!Over the past few years we have replaced 90% of the lighting with compact fluorescent light bulbs. Over 80% of our cleaning supplies are environmentally friendly. We have replaced all of our sliding glass doors with ones that have Low-E glass which keeps the heat out in the summer and in during the winter. Last year we installed a solar hot water system, the first in Ocean City! All of our guestrooms including balconies and all indoor public spaces are non smoking. We are continually exploring ways to help reduce our carbon footprint. Please let us know if you would like a tour of our solar hot water system or have any suggestions for other changes we can make to help the environment.
